.
FAST SPLITS INDOOR BIKE TIME TRIAL (TT) The indoor TT returns to Multisport World for the 8th consecutive year. Managed by Fast Splits of Newton, MA, the TT is centerpiece of the expo floor with riders set up side by side on their own bikes which are hooked up to CompuTrainers. CompuTrainer riding enables riders to feel the same loads they would feel on the road at the same speed, grade and gear.
The Fast Splits Indoor Bike Time Trial is a 10k race for both teams and individuals with prizes (to be determined) awarded for the following: - Fastest Male (based on fastest time): ROY VAN CLEEF
- Fastest Female (based on fastest time): LISBETH KENYON
- Fastest Team (based on fastest combined time of team): DELOGNE-SMITH-BENNER
- "Luckiest" Rider (random prize giveaway): KATHERINE SNELL
Teams are comprised of 3 people. The first 50 people who register -- as part of a team or an individual -- will receive a Spinervals DVD (a $30 value). Prizes for this year's TT are provided by Rudy Project, official helmet and eyeglass sponsor of Multisport World 2009. The Fastest Male, Fastest Female and each member of the Fastest Team will receive a Syton Open TT helmet (a $199 value) and the "Luckiest" TT participant will win a Zuma helmet (a $114 value). The Fast Splits Indoor Bike TT is part of the Cycleops Indoor TT Series that also includes the Team Psycho Indoor Time Trial and the Boston Triathlon Indoor Time Trial. Each race entered in the series will earn an entry towards the raffle of a Power Tap SL Hub System (a $1,599 value). The first race entered earns one entry, the second race entered earns three entries and the third race entered will earn six entries. This will allow for a maximum of 10 entries into the raffle.
