Located just over an hour from Philadelphia and New Jersey, the race offers both short (750m swim/18 mile bike/3.1 mile run) and long distance (1.2 mile swim/56 mile bike/13.1 mile run) courses.

Sat, Jul. 12 2008 Mini Mossman Youth Triathlon Norwalk, CT Race 1: Youth (7-10 year olds); 75 yd swim, 2 mile bike, 0.5 mile run. Race 2: Older Youth (11-14 year olds); 150 yd swim, 4 mile bike, 1 mile run. Open to kids of all abilities. The swim is in the Long Island Sound in a shallow, enclosed and supervised section. The bike route is in the Calf Pasture Beach area, closed to traffic. The run is a scenic route by the sea. Every competitor will get a medal and a t-shirt. Three winners (male and female) per age group will get an award.

Racers will complete a 0.75 mile swim in Long Island Sound, bike two loops on an 8.5 mile challenging yet scenic bike course and run two loops on a 1.55 mile flat and fast course.
