Kick off the new season March 21-22, 2009 at the Zesiger Sports & Fitness Center at MIT in Cambridge, MA at the seventh annual Multisport World Conference and Expo. Developed in partnership with USAT Northeast, Multisport World offers 2,000+ attendees seminars, training clinics, workshops, competitve events and the largest vendor expo of any multisport event on the east. Headlining this year's list of speakers are:
SCOTT TINLEY. Scott is a 2x Ironman World Champion and one of the most distinguished athletes in the sport of triathlon. He's a respected author, educator and has a monthly column in Triathlete magazine. Scott will keynote the USAT Northeast Welcome Reception on Saturday, 3/21, at 4:00PM (see below for details) and give a seminar on Sunday, 3/22, participate in the Relay Team Swim Challenge and do Q&A in an Ironman workshop.
TERRY LAUGHLIN. Terry is a world-class swimmer, renowned swim coach and founder of Total Immersion. Among his many accomplishments are winning four US Masters national championships. He's also the nation's #1 ranked 55-59 open water swimmer for the last 2 years. Terry will be giving a seminar at Multisport World and will also lead two of the Total Immersion swim clinics.

KAREN SMYERS. Karen is one of the most versatile women in the history of multisport. A recent inductee into the USA Triathlon Hall of Fame, she has accumulated 7 national triathlon titles, 1 national duathlon title, 2 world triathlon medals and 1 Ironman World Championship. Karen will give an inspiring seminar, "Harnessing the Power Within" on Day 2 (9:00AM) and will also be participating in the Relay Team Swim Challenge and Fast Splits Indoor Bike Time Trial.

USAT NORTHEAST WELCOME RECEPTION
Close out day one of Multisport World at the USAT Northeast Welcome Reception (Saturday, 4:00PM), a casual reception on the MAC Court on the 3rd floor of the Zesiger Center which you can attend for FREE. The Reception will feature light appetizers and drinks, USAT CEO Skip Gilbert on the "State of the Sport", a keynote from Scott Tinley, and a silent auction fundraiser to benefit the American Cancer Society (ACS). Supporting sponsors are Landry's Bicyclesand the CaliforniaUniversity of Pennsylvania. Non-alcoholic beverages to be provided by owater.

7x NATIONALS CHAMPION MIKE STEIDLEY RETURNS
We're glad to welcome back Mike Steidley (pictured below), one of the most exciting and extreme mountain bike riders in North America. Presented by Quad Multisport of Arlington, MA, Mike will perform 3 of his famous stunt bike shows on Sunday, March 22. Show times on Sunday are 10:30AM, 11:30AM and 1:45PM. All shows will take place on the expo floor.
