Thanks to all attendees and sponsors of Multisport World Conference and Expo 2008... enjoy the season!

Thanks to everyone who joined us on March 30, 2008 to kick off the new multisport season at Multisport World Conference and Expo held at the Zesiger Sports & Fitness Center on the campus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge, MA.

The tri community was out in force with more than 1,700 attendees eager to gear up, study up and plan out the new season. And with more than 80 exhibiting sponsors, plus training clinics, informative workshops, competitive events and activities for the kids, there was no shortage of things to do and see. If you missed the event this year, we hope to see you in 2009.

The expo doors officially opened at 10:30AM, but attendees were lined up well before eager to start the day and be one of the first 500 to receive a goodie bag.

The coveted goodie bag. This year's swag included a Spinervals DVD, swim cap from Finis, Clif Shot Blocs, product samples of Recoverite, plus valuable coupons and info on races, coaching help and more.

With more than 80 exhibiting sponsors it was gear galore! Sponsors included some of the most recognizable companies in the sport including Fuel Belt, Timex, Total Immersion, Clif Bar, Spinervals, Rudy Project, ZIPP and many others.

2008 was the 6th year of the event and attendance for the day was estimated at 1,700-1,800... an all-time high!

Success! The new pair of shoes I was looking for! Exhibiting sponsors included retailers and manufacturers showcasing the latest bikes, wetsuits, running shoes, trainng products, nutritional products and apparel. Other sponsors included Race Directors, certified coaches, experts in the field of health & wellness, tri clubs and more.

Joanna gave a seminar and a workshop at Multisport World and also participated on a panel moderated by Coach Troy Jacobson that also included Karen Smyers, Vinu Malik (Founder and President of FuelBelt) and Ian Briggs (USAT Northeast President).

Professional stunt bike rider and 2007 Nationals Champion, Mike Steidley, was on hand to put on a great show for attendees of this year's event.
