The following training clinics and workshops were offered at Multisport World Conference and Expo 2008: - Total ImmersionTM Swim Clinic
- ChiRunning Clinic
- Athletic Yoga for Triathletes (led by the Flexible Warrior)
- Training for a Half Iron (led by Joanna Zeiger)
Each clinic and workshop was led by trained expert in their respective fields. Participation required a registration fee. All clinics were held within the Zesiger Sports and Fitness Center, home of Muiltisport World Conference and Expo 2008. ************************************************************************* TOTAL IMMERSIONTM SWIM CLINIC: The Total Immersion (TI) method of swimming instruction is world renowned and recognized by many as the best and most effective way to improve your technique in the water. TI instructors prioritize energy efficient movement through drag reduction and whole-body integration. These fundamental skills are the foundation for developing improvements in speed.

Greg Saunter, triathlete and TI Director of Multisport Programs, and Celeste St. Pierre, founder of TriathlonSkills.com, led 60-minute training clinics throughout the day. 
************************************************************************* CHI RUNNING CLINIC: For beginners and competitors and practiced by thousands of runners, ChiRunning combines modern physics with the ancient wisdom of T’ai Chi to create a running form that is easily learned and makes running more effortless and enjoyable.
Beginner and Advanced clinics were offered at Multisport World and organized by ChiRunning Coach Vince Vaccaro of TriTek.

ATHLETIC YOGA FOR TRIATHLETES: Led by "The Flexible Warrior", Karen Dubs, this yoga workshop was created specifically with the triathlete in mind, focusing on the foundations of athletic yoga to help you improve your flexibility and performance while reducung your risk of injury. Karen offered two 90 minute workshops and each workshop included discussion of five basic principals, pose breakdown and hands on adjustments to help attendees with their form. 
************************************************************************* TRAINING FOR A HALF IRON: Triathletes looking to complete their first half iron distance triathlon (1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, 13.1 mile run) or achieve a personal best at this distance benefited from a valuable 60 minute workshop led by accomplished professional triathlete, Joanna Zeiger. Joanna offered practical guidance and advice including: - Things to consider before tackling your next half iron distance race
- Weekly training guidelines and key workouts
- Important nutritional considerations (e.g. hydration and caloric intake)
- What to pack in your transition bag
