2010 Race Calendar

Race Directors for the 2010 multisport, cycling and running events featured below will be available at one or more of the 2010 Multisport World events to discuss these events and answer your questions. We are grateful for their support and encourage all Multisport World attendees to consider participation in one or more of these events as part of their 2010 season. Events are sorted by date.

*Gold Star Run for Honor*	4/24/10	5k and 10k run	Swampscott, MA	“Gold Star Run for Honor” is a 5K/10K road race to honor the life and dedication of Swampscott soldier, SPC Jared Raymond whose life was taken while on active duty during combat operations in Iraq. 	5/2/10	Marathon, 1/2 marathon and 5k	Providence, RI	Join us for the third annual Cox Providence Rhode Races featuring the Cox Sports Marathon, Willow Tree Half-Marathon, and Rhode Races 5K. 	5/8/10	Half iron triathlon	Lake Anna, VA	World Qualifier Half. On May 8^th the top two (2) athletes per age group rolling to fourth (4th) place will qualify for Team USA and slots to go to Immenstadt, Germany. Click here for more info.

*The Hoppin* *Mad Mud Run*	5/16/10	Adventure running	Amesbury, MA	The Hoppin Mad Mud Run is a challenging 10K on road and off road run with hills, tire obstacles, 5-foot walls, hay bails, and the final mud pit. Race individually, within your age division, or as a member of a 5-person team. The entire team MUST cross the finish line at the same time! More info.

*Bike MS: Chesapeake Challenge 2010 presented by Wells Fargo*	5/22/10-5/23/10	1 or 2 day bike ride	Chestertown, MD	Pedal along the Chesapeake Bay while enjoying all the beautiful waterfront communities the Eastern Shore has to offer. *Challenge Walk MS: Chesapeake Challenge 2010 presented by Wells Fargo*	5/22/10-5/23/10	50k endurance walk	Chestertown, MD	Accept the challenge and join us for this 2-day, 30 mile (50K) journey along Maryland’s scenic Eastern shore. *The DAM Triathlon*	7/10/10	Sprint triathlon	Amesbury, MA	The Sprint Distance DAM Triathlon is a USAT sanctioned triathlon at Lake Gardner. The bike and run courses are flat and will be fast!! 	7/18/10	Sprint distance triathlon	Norwalk, CT	This USA Triathlon sanctioned event consists of a 0.5 mile swim, 12.5 mile bike and a 3.1 mile run. It’s also a stage of the USA Triathlon NE Junior Development Series.

	8/15/10	Sprint triathlon	Westborough, MA	A partnership between Sun Multisport Events and the Westborough Rotary Club, the Westborough Sprint Triathlon is a flat, fast course through Westborough and Northborough that concludes with a trail run around Lake Chauncy to a beach finish. 	10/17/10	Marathon, 1/2 marathon and relay	Newport, RI	Ranked the 4^th best marathon in the country in the January 2010 issue of Runners World Magazine, the Amica Marathon offers a scenic and historic view of Newport, RI.
