Listed below are the speakers that have been confirmed to present at Multisport World on March 20, 2010 at the Zesiger Sports & Fitness Center at MIT. We're still firming up topics and speakers so check back often for the latest additions to our speaker line-up.

danny abshireDanny Abshire, Newton Runnning co-founder and Chief Technical Officer. In addition to his role at Newton Running, Danny is form coach for multisports.com and a pedorthist. He has worked with dozens of world champions as a form coach and has been building custom orthotics since the 1980s. He is a former track athlete and accomplished ultra distance runner.  Danny will co-present the seminar "Natural Running Form and Bio-mechanics" as well as a runnng clinic prior to the Newton Running Campus Run that will precede the opening of Multisport World.

 

 

Ian Adamson 2Ian Adamson, MS Sports Medicine. Ian is considered the most successful endurance racer of all time with accomplishments that include being a 7x endurance sports World Champion and a 3x world record holder. Ian has competed in running sports since the 1970s, including 12 years as a professional adventure athlete with Salomon, GoLite and Nike, where he helped develop trail shoes and other running products. Lisa Bentley, professional triathlete. Ian BuchananIan Buchanan, co-owner of Fit Werx, Road & Triathlon Cycling Specialists. Ian is one of the most experienced bike fitters in the country having performed bike fittings for more than 2,500 athletes. Victoria VanNederynen, chiropractor, Full Body Active Release Techniques (ART) practitioner with advanced certification in Kinesio Taping. Dr. VanNederynen trains and competes in triathlons and completed her first Ironman event at Lake Placid in 2009. She has also been a treating physician at Ironman Lake Placid on multiple occassions.
